Dobrý den pane Osinku, že stromy byly shnilé je formulace z odpovědi pana Brylla, která je zde přiložena. Při posuzování poškození stromu je důležité, která část stromu je zasažena. Otevřená dutina v úžlabí větví se dá stabilizovat vyvázáním větví a zábranou proti zatékání vody, což se mělo udělat minimálně při posledním ošetření stromů. Zde město zanedbalo údržbu. Uzavřená dutina v kmenu stromu není na závadu. Pevnost stromu nesnižuje.
